Independent (Deloris Therese Fola Thalya)

My name is Fola Thalya Deloris Therese and I'm the founder of a youth-led climate NGO based in Cameroon, We focus mainly on environmental awareness, incorporating environmental education in schools as well as youth capacity building. We've been operating for one year, and over the year we've been able to establish am environmental club in a primary wherein my team members also improve their capacity by being innovative on how they teach and carryout projects in school. Also, we've carried out a lot of cleanup and tree planting initiatives with our community members. Not limited to this, we've attended seminars on pollution, climate education as well as recycling. While being the founder of this NGO, I am also undergoing a training to become a front-end developer and designer, because I believe climate space should encompass everyone who's willing to change their ways and habits. I completed my B.Sc in Environmental Science in December 2022.
