Independent (George Lule)
I am a development practitioner and research professional committed to advancing inclusive, evidence-informed, and people-centered development. My work sits at the intersection of partnerships, research, and social impact, with a strong focus on strengthening collaboration among the various civil society actors, community-based organizations, and development partners to contribute to sustainable systems change.
Currently, I support stakeholder engagements and qualitative initiatives as a Project Officer (Partnerships & Research Development) at Move on Afrika Ltd, a consultancy organization in Nairobi, Kenya, that provides technical and research support to organizations working in governance, social justice, and community development.
In this role, I contribute to project design and implementation support, partnership development, stakeholder engagement, and research coordination. I am actively involved in facilitating learning processes, supporting evaluations, and coordinating key informant interviews and qualitative research that generate actionable insights for program improvement and policy engagement.
Through my work, I seek to bridge the gap between evidence, policy, and practice by ensuring that development interventions are informed by credible research and grounded in the lived experiences of communities. I place strong emphasis on accountability, ethical engagement, and inclusive participation, particularly in contexts affecting marginalized and underrepresented populations. I am especially interested in how collaborative approaches and knowledge-sharing can strengthen the effectiveness, relevance, and sustainability of development interventions.
My professional motivation is deeply rooted in my commitment to social justice, good governance, and transformative systems change. I believe that sustainable development requires more than isolated projects; it demands coordinated action, strong partnerships, and continuous learning across sectors and geographies. As an intermediary practitioner, I aim to support organizations and networks in strengthening their strategies, evidence bases, and collaborative efforts to achieve long-term impact.
My Mission:
My mission is to support inclusive, ethical, and evidence-driven development initiatives by strengthening partnerships, generating meaningful insights, and contributing to systems-level change that improves social and economic outcomes for communities.
My Vision:
My vision is a just and inclusive society where development efforts are shaped by credible evidence, meaningful participation, and collaborative action, resulting in sustainable and transformative impact.
