Independent (Juliana Stricklen)

I am a Program Manager at the Global Public Service Academy for Health (GPSA), where I lead international site development and global partnerships to expand access to health education in underserved communities. My work spans Southeast Asia, Latin America, and the United States, with a current focus on rural health equity in northern Thailand. I have developed new programs in partnership with the Thai Ministry of Health, local universities, and community-based organizations. I also design and implement training curricula for student participants, covering systems thinking in health, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), medical skills, and culturally responsive approaches to community care. Alongside my professional work, I am completing a Master of Education (M.Ed.) focused on educational technology for global engagement and innovation. My mission is to bridge global communities through equitable, experiential education that builds local capacity and fosters cross-cultural understanding. I envision a future where young people are empowered through ethical, community-centered programs to become compassionate and effective contributors to global health and development.

I want to be part of Catalyst Now because I believe meaningful change happens through collective action and cross-sector collaboration. In my work as Director of the Global Regenerative Immersion Program at Earth Rights Institute, I design and lead international programs that connect participants with community-driven solutions in environmental sustainability, human rights, and regenerative development. Across Latin America and Southeast Asia, I build equitable partnerships, develop immersive curricula, and support initiatives that strengthen local capacity and address systemic challenges. This work has shown me how deeply interconnected social and ecological issues are—and how collaborative, systems-based approaches are essential for lasting impact. I’m excited to engage with Catalyst Now as a space to both contribute and learn—bringing experience in environmental programming, ethical supply chains, and creative practice, while connecting with others working to reimagine systems that better serve people and planet.
