Independent (Kasimu Bello)
I am currently serving as Vice President of Programs at Women of Color On The Move, an organization dedicated to empowering women of color through leadership development, advocacy, and community engagement. In my role, I oversee program strategy, design, and implementation, ensuring that our initiatives address the unique challenges faced by women of color across various sectors.
Our mission is to amplify the voices and leadership of women of color, creating pathways for economic empowerment, educational advancement, and social impact. We envision a world where women of color have equitable access to opportunities, resources, and networks that enable them to thrive personally and professionally.
In my work, I focus on developing and managing programs that foster leadership skills, mentorship opportunities, and community partnerships. This includes designing workshops, spearheading advocacy campaigns, and collaborating with local and international stakeholders to advance social justice and gender equity initiatives.
Through these efforts, we serve communities in the United States and partner globally to support initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion. Our programs are designed to be both impactful and sustainable, empowering participants to become leaders in their communities and beyond.
I am passionate about creating spaces where women of color can lead with confidence, innovate with purpose, and inspire systemic change. By joining this network, I aim to connect with like-minded leaders, share best practices, and collaborate on initiatives that amplify our collective impact.
