Margaret Osborne is a strategic executive leader with over fifteen years of experience advancing sustainable development, corporate engagement, and the United Nations’ global goals. Her career centres on building transformational initiatives that unite public and private sectors, especially within membership-based organisations and multi-stakeholder networks. Margaret’s mission is to forge impactful global partnerships that leverage innovation, especially from the private sector, to accelerate progress on humanitarian response, sustainable finance, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). She believes sustainable change is possible when corporations, governments, and civil society work together with shared purpose and strategic vision. Her vision is a world where inclusive cross-sector alliances drive scalable solutions to today’s most urgent social, environmental, and economic challenges. She is dedicated to strengthening the ecosystem for partnership, delivering transparency, and mobilising resources to ensure no one is left behind on the path to sustainable development. Margaret has led high-impact teams across the Middle East, Europe, and Africa, including the transformation of global humanitarian platforms, development of innovative funding mechanisms such as faith-based finance for humanitarian projects, and negotiation of landmark public-private collaborations with Fortune 500 companies, UN agencies, and governments. She holds a Master’s in International Human Rights Law from Oxford University and a JD from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois with a strong foundation in legal counsel, strategic planning, and operational excellence.
