Independent (Masayuki Teramoto)

I am a physician-scientist and Ph.D. student in health informatics at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine. With a background in medicine, public health, and data science, I integrate clinical and public health insights with informatics to address non-communicable diseases. I also serve as the director of the inochi Future Project, a Japan-based non-profit initiative offering educational programs that cultivate talent for social innovation in the health and public health sectors, engaging junior high, high school, and university students.

Health sees meaningful improvements only through collaboration across sectors with shared goals. By joining Catalyst 2030’s network, I aim to expand this cooperative reach and foster interdisciplinary partnerships. A concrete step is to collaborate at Expo 2025 in Osaka/Kansai, where we plan to host a 5-day event focused on health equity, bringing together diverse stakeholders to drive sustainable approaches in health and public health.
