Migombani Organic Farm is a climate-focused hybrid social enterprise based in Kilifi County, Kenya, working at the intersection of regenerative agriculture, water and sanitation, climate resilience, and inclusive livelihoods. Our mission is to restore degraded landscapes while improving food security, water access, and economic opportunities for women and youth in climate-vulnerable rural and coastal communities. We design and implement nature-based, circular solutions such as syntropic agroforestry systems, climate-smart organic farming, community-led WASH innovations, and emerging circular aquaculture models. Our flagship approaches integrate soil regeneration, biodiversity restoration, water reuse, and waste minimization to demonstrate how ecological health and human well-being can be strengthened simultaneously. Migombani Organic Farm works closely with smallholder farmers, youth groups, women-led enterprises, and community-based organizations, including SISITI Community Based Organization, to deliver training, pilot innovations, and build local capacity. Our work emphasizes systems thinking, indigenous knowledge, permaculture principles, and co-creation with communities to ensure solutions are locally relevant and scalable. Our vision is to contribute to a regenerative and climate-resilient future where communities thrive within healthy ecosystems. While our primary focus is Kenya—particularly the coastal region of Kilifi County—our models are designed for adaptation and replication across East Africa and other climate-vulnerable regions globally through partnerships and knowledge-sharing networks.

My motivation to join Catalyst Now is rooted in the belief that lasting solutions to climate, food, and water challenges require collective action, shared learning, and systems-level collaboration. Much of our work is grounded in community-led innovation, but we recognize that local solutions gain real power when they are connected to global movements that amplify, adapt, and influence change across contexts. Catalyst Now offers a unique platform.
