I am Noor, a Senior Lecturer at the esteemed UNITEN Business School, part of Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN). My life's work revolves around promoting sustainable development and enhancing workplace wellbeing. Since joining UNITEN in 2002, I have had the privilege of spearheading various projects and research initiatives that align with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Focus on Sustainable Development: I've always been drawn to the idea of sustainable development and its potential to shape a better future for our planet. Throughout my career, I've focused on behavioral change, waste minimization, and the integration of sustainability in educational practices. My goal has been to bridge the gap between theory and real-world application, encouraging individuals and organizations to adopt environmentally responsible practices. Contributions to Academia and Beyond: As an academic, I find great joy in sharing knowledge and fostering innovation. I actively participate in reviewing articles for conferences and journals, contributing to the dissemination of valuable research findings. Additionally, I serve as a judge for innovation projects, celebrating novel ideas that have the potential to create positive change. Engaging with the Community: One of the most fulfilling aspects of my work is being a speaker for activities organized by NGO clubs. These opportunities allow me to communicate complex ideas in a way that resonates with diverse audiences. Engaging with the community not only amplifies awareness of sustainable practices but also empowers individuals to become change-makers in their own right. International Collaborations and Professional Affiliations: I believe in the power of collaboration, and my dedication to sustainable development has taken me beyond borders. I have had the privilege of collaborating on joint research projects with esteemed universities in Indonesia, where we tackle communal challenges and find sustainable solutions together. Conclusion: As I continue my journey as an academic and advocate for sustainable development, I am more motivated than ever to drive positive change in society. My passion for workplace intervention and people's well-being fuels my dedication to research and community engagement.
