Independent (Ozge Iskit)

My name is Özge. I was born and raised in Turkey. My international career has taken me to a journey, and I have lived in Istanbul, Brussels and Rome. Now I’m based in London. I’m a strategy and governance expert. I work as a trusted advisor to high-level decision-makers such as ministers, executive boards, and senior institutional leaders “at the decision-making table”. My work varies from projects like advising the UN Executive Board on governance reform of the World Food Programme affecting $14Bn of global operations, to steering post-Brexit transformation in the UK to safeguard £5Bn in trade between the UK and the EU, or to implementing anti-corruption strategies in 28 countries on behalf the European Commission. I believe in achieving global peace through international cooperation and strong public institutions The world is going through an era of systemic pressure due to climate-driven migration, geopolitical realignment, shrinking development budgets, new forms of disinformation, and rising public distrust. Many nations will emerge from crisis needing more than funding or diplomacy. They will need institutional architects who understand reform not as a technical exercise, but as a social contract. My vision is to become one of those architects.

My dream is to help build a world where peace is sustained not through border protection and security alliances, but through interna;onal development working with strong and transparent public institutions. This has been the consistent thread through my two decades of work as entrepreneur, governance expert, and advisor to ministers, executive boards, and senior institutional leaders across more than forty countries.
