Independent (Pierre Wetterwald)

Data is the cornerstone of sustainable, transparent, and equitable development. Building on this conviction, I lead and contribute to data-driven projects in the humanitarian and development sector. As a MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning) and Disability & Inclusion Officer under the European Solidarity Corps program at ADRA Zambia, I support evidence-based decision-making and inclusive programming. My research has led to an IEEE publication presenting a statistical method to generate synthetic populations from limited demographic data, improving needs assessments and resource allocation in crisis contexts. I seek to bridge data science and field realities to strengthen inclusive, accountable, and effective humanitarian and development action.

I seek to join the Catalyst Now community to connect with a diverse network of practitioners and innovators working toward systemic change in the humanitarian and development sector, particularly at the intersection of data, innovation, and field realities. I aim to contribute my experience in data-driven decision-making, MEAL, and inclusive programming, while learning from peers across sectors and collaborating to advance more transparent, equitable, and impactful development action
