Independent (Renata Penchova)

Renata Penchova is a university lecturer of Macedonian Language at the Beijing Foreign Studies University, she has a Master's degree in Macedonian Literature and Culture at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius. Renata has been on a few student exchange semesters at the University of Zagreb, the University of Graz, Comenius University in Bratislava, and the University of Warsaw. Also, she is a Young European Ambassador on the platform WeBalkans (selected by the European Commission), and a curator at the Global Shapers Skopje hub. As an outstanding shaper, she was invited by World Economic Forum to attend the Annual Meeting 2024 in Davos and she had an opportunity to speak on the topics of women's empowerment and youth engagement. Also, she is a youth worker and she has done short-term ESC in the organization Mladiinfo Slovensko, and was an info peer educator for the organization ERYICA in Luxembourg, and a facilitator at the organization Youth for Exchange and Understanding. She has done an internship at the global organization World Youth Alliance in Brussels, Belgium. Renata has been part of the campaigns "Democracy here, democracy now" by Council of Europe, #BanUnpaidInternships by European Youth Forum, and was a community mobilizer for the project "Support to electoral reforms" from National Youth Council in North Macedonia. Renata took part of the School for Political Education organized by the president of Macedonia, Stevo Pendarovski and the School of Young leaders by the ex president Gjorgje Ivanov.

As a youth advocate, university lecturer, and active leader in global movements, I aim to contribute to Catalyst 2030 by driving cross-cultural education, empowering youth, and promoting systemic change through collaboration. My experience in global advocacy, intercultural communication, and campaigns aligns with Catalyst 2030’s mission to achieve the SDGs. I seek to co-create impactful solutions, access expertise, and form partnerships within the community to amplify collective action.
