Independent (Sabina Imeri)

I work at the intersection of food systems, sustainability, and global engagement, with a focus on making complex knowledge accessible and actionable for diverse communities. My mission is to contribute to more inclusive and regenerative food systems by bridging science, communication, and youth-driven action. Through my experience, I have supported international initiatives focused on social innovation and sustainable development, working in multicultural and remote environments. I contribute to global dialogues on food systems transformation through my involvement with the World Food Forum, where I engage in consultations and bring regional perspectives from the Western Balkans into international discussions. In parallel, I founded RootRise, a platform dedicated to raising awareness on food justice, regenerative agriculture, and sustainability. Through this initiative, I translate technical and scientific knowledge into accessible content, aiming to empower individuals especially young people to better understand and engage with food system challenges. My vision is to support stronger collaboration across sectors, amplify underrepresented voices, and contribute to solutions that connect knowledge with action. I am particularly interested in working at the interface of communication, coordination, and policy to help drive meaningful and lasting impact in global food systems.
