Independent (Yasmin Campos Fernandez)

I am a program strategist and community builder from Peru working at the intersection of education, youth leadership, and social innovation across Latin America. Over the past years, I have contributed to building programs and communities that empower emerging leaders and mission-driven organizations. I have led initiatives in organizations such as the Latin American Leadership Academy (LALA) and Propel, supporting youth leaders and social impact organizations across the region through program design, partnerships, and community engagement. Earlier in my journey, I founded LACOMunidad, a peer-learning network created to connect young changemakers across Latin America who were launching social initiatives in their communities. Growing up in a low-income environment shaped my commitment to expanding access to opportunities for talented young people who often lack networks, mentorship, and global exposure. This experience continues to guide my belief that leadership potential exists everywhere, but ecosystems that support it must be intentionally built. Today, my work focuses on building communities and platforms that help young leaders and builders connect, learn from each other, and access the opportunities they need to grow their ideas and impact. Through initiatives such as The Spark Community, my mission is to create spaces where emerging changemakers can find the networks, support, and inspiration needed to spark solutions to the challenges facing our world. I envision a future where talented youth, regardless of where they come from, have access to the communities, resources, and global networks that enable them to turn bold ideas into lasting impact.
