Instituto Nacional de Desenvolvimento Humano -INADH

Human development, according to the United Nations – UN, is what places people at the center of development, promoting the realization of their potential, the increase of their possibilities and the enjoyment of the freedom to live the life they desire. As for the National Institute of Human Development – INADH, it is its main mission and the driving force behind a dream that was born very small in 2006 and has grown larger over the course of its almost 18-year history. From an initiative aimed at meeting the needs of the residents of Favela Buriti-Congonhas, in Madureira, in the city of Rio de Janeiro, which at that time did not have any type of “government presence” and the Bolsa Família program did not have coverage of nowadays and was very far from the mission of ending hunger among Brazilians in situations of extreme poverty and social vulnerability.
