My name is Mihade Mastour. I am an environmental researcher and advocate driven by a profound passion for climate action, resilience, and the preservation of our planet's diverse ecosystems. With an academic background focused strictly on biodiversity and conservation, my lifelong mission has been to develop actionable strategies that protect our natural world from the accelerating impacts of climate change. Currently, my work bridges the gap between environmental science and urban development. I specialize in studying the impact of urban albedo—the measure of how much solar radiation a city's surface reflects. By examining how different colors and materials alter local microclimates, I explore the direct correlation between urban surfaces and rising temperatures.
