Muhammad Bilal Gulfraz (Independent)

I am Dr. Muhammad Bilal Gulfraz, an educator, researcher, and entrepreneur currently serving as an Associate Professor at Beijing University of Financial Technology (BUFT). With more than ten years of university teaching experience across Pakistan and China, my work brings together education, business, and cross-cultural understanding. At the heart of my work is a simple belief: education should help people build the confidence, skills, and opportunities to shape their own futures. Through teaching and mentoring, I aim to help students connect classroom learning with everyday challenges, communicate across cultures, and approach their careers with curiosity and responsibility. My research focuses on marketing, consumer behaviour, entrepreneurship, and the ways digital technologies are changing how people live and work. I am particularly interested in how emerging tools, including artificial intelligence, can serve human needs and help businesses become more responsive to the people they serve. My entrepreneurial and consulting interests also include building connections between China and Pakistan through knowledge exchange and business cooperation. My mission is to make knowledge useful and accessible by connecting academic research with practical learning and collaboration. I want my work to help young people and aspiring entrepreneurs turn ideas into meaningful opportunities for themselves and others. My vision is a future where access to learning, supportive networks, and economic opportunity is less dependent on a person’s background or location. I hope to contribute by bringing people from different disciplines and cultures together, listening to their experiences, and developing practical responses to shared challenges.
