Ntezi People’s Forum
Ntezi People’s Forum (N-PeF) is a community-driven development organisation rooted in the belief that lasting change begins from within. Established to promote education, social development, and collective action in the Ntezi community, Ishielu Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, Nigeria, N-PeF was founded with a clear conviction: that Ntezi indigenes, especially women and girls and friends of the community, working together, hold the power to transform their own reality.
Who We Are
N-PeF is a CAC-registered, community-governed organisation with a board of directors, transparent financial records, and a membership base that pools resources directly to solve community problems. We are not an organisation that works for communities; we are a platform built by and with the community. Our members contribute financially and in practical ways to fund and implement every initiative we run. This model of community self-financing is central to our identity: it means our priorities are set by the people most affected, not by external donors.
We operate exclusively in Ntezi, Ishielu LGA, Ebonyi State. Our focus is intentional and geographic: deep impact in one community, rather than shallow reach across many.
What We Do
Our work is anchored in three core areas: education, water and community wellbeing, and youth participation.
Our Mission
To mobilise Ntezi indigenes and allies around shared development goals, driving sustainable, community-owned solutions that improve education, wellbeing, and quality of life in Ntezi.
Our Vision
A Ntezi community where every person, regardless of circumstance, has access to quality education, basic amenities, and the opportunity to thrive; a community that models grassroots development done right.
Why It Matters
Development organisations often arrive with external agendas. N-PeF is different. Every initiative we run is shaped and funded by community members who understand the terrain, the culture, and the stakes.
