Nuvora Impact is a design-led social impact practice based in Bangalore, India. We work at the intersection of design, research and technology for NGOs, CSR leaders, funders and the organisations they back. Most evaluation looks at parts. We look at the whole. Funders ask for outcomes. Boards ask for numbers. Almost nobody asks what is holding the pattern in place. We use systems thinking to work below the surface: not just what happened, but why it keeps happening. That means mapping structures, not just events and mental models, not just metrics. Our work spans impact strategy, monitoring and evaluation, systems mapping and the practical tools that make evidence usable on a Monday morning. For organisations without an evaluation budget, we offer a free Impact Snapshot: a plain-language Theory of Change, three outcome indicators funders ask for and an SROI framing sentence ready for proposals. Our mission is simple: evidence only holds if it is designed by the people inside the system it is measuring, not handed down from outside it. Research done with communities, not on them. Our vision is a social sector where the gap between what is being measured and what actually matters no longer determines which programmes survive and which ones do not. Where the people a programme is designed to serve get to decide what counts as evidence of change. Nuvora was founded by Natasha Shashikant, who brings ten years of MEL and programme design experience across thirty Indian cities, a £2m community fund across 21 VCSE organisations in South London and a $200m global youth mental health portfolio spanning twelve countries. The question that has driven that work from the beginning and now drives Nuvora Impact, is this: who gets to decide what counts as evidence?
