Pandora Box Impact CBO is a women-led community-based organization in Kenya that uses art as a strategic tool for advocacy, empowerment, and social transformation. The organization is rooted in the belief that creativity is power and when women and girls are equipped with creative skills and platforms, they can influence narratives, policies, and communities. Our work is anchored in three key programs: 1. Women’s Creative Masterclasses – These are structured capacity-building sessions designed to equip emerging women creatives with skills in spoken word, storytelling, performance, digital expression, and confidence building. The masterclasses nurture talent while strengthening leadership, communication, and personal development. 2. Women’s Creative Advocacy – Through performances, digital campaigns, spoken word clips, dialogues, and community events, we use art to address issues such as gender-based violence, technology-facilitated violence, mental health, and women’s rights. This program transforms artistic expression into purposeful advocacy that challenges harmful norms and promotes gender justice. 3. She Creates Community Lab – A safe and collaborative space where women co-create, experiment, heal, and design advocacy ideas using art. The Lab fosters mentorship, peer learning, and innovation. Through these programs, Pandora Box continues turning art into impact—amplifying women’s voices and advancing social change.
