Bluence

I am motivated to be part of Catalyst Now because I believe in the power of collective action and cross-sector collaboration to drive meaningful systems change. Through Bluence, a UN Ocean Decade-endorsed initiative, I work to advance a people-centered blue economy rooted in communities and women’s leadership. We connect community knowledge, entrepreneurship, ocean governance, and storytelling to strengthen local leadership and build more inclusive and resilient ocean- and water-connected communities. Being part of a global network of changemakers allows me to learn across regions, contribute perspectives and experience from Latin America, and build partnerships that connect initiatives, knowledge, and resources. I value the opportunity to co-create solutions, share practical approaches, and collaborate across sectors toward systems change that advances both sustainability and equity.
