Springs of Good-Health Initiative
Springs of Good-Health Initiative is a non-profit organization that is committed to empowering children, youths, and underserved communities — especially girls, young women, and persons with disabilities — through innovative Education Technology (EdTech) programs and accessible mental health interventions.
Our organisation was founded in 2022 and officially registered in 2023 with the mission to provide evidence-based digital literacy education and mental health interventions that remove barriers to learning, address stigma, and create opportunities for lasting positive change. Our vision is a world where every child and youth, regardless of background or location, has the skills, confidence, and well-being to thrive in the digital age.
Our focus is on three core areas:
? DIGITAL INCLUSION: We deliver foundational and advanced EdTech training, including Google Workspace, Microsoft Office tools, Canva design, social media marketing, coding, and other relevant technology skills. Our programs are designed for both online and offline use, enabling us to reach remote and resource-limited communities.
? Mental Health Support – We facilitate interactive workshops on emotional awareness, self-esteem, empathy, anxiety management, and stress relief. These programs are tailored for children, adolescents, mothers, and special groups, blending scientific approaches with culturally and faith-sensitive perspectives.
? COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT: We build sustainable impact through ongoing community engagement, partnerships, and follow-up visits, ensuring participants can apply their skills in education, livelihoods, and daily life.
Since our inception, we have reached diverse communities in Nigeria, equipping participants with tools to create digital content, improve academic performance, explore entrepreneurship, and strengthen resilience. We believe digital literacy and mental well-being are interconnected keys to unlocking human potential and reducing poverty.
Our work is guided by the belief that no one should be left behind in the fast-changing digital era and through partnerships, advocacy, and direct service, we aim to close the digital divide, promote inclusion, and foster healthier, more empowered communities.
MISSION: To empower children, youths, and underserved communities with accessible, evidence-based educational technology and mental health support, fostering digital literacy, wellness, and inclusive growth.
VISION: Is to achieve a world where every child and youth regardless of background, gender, or disability has the tools, knowledge, and support to thrive in the digital era and lead healthy, empowered lives.
