Stanford Seed South Asia

Stanford Seed is an initiative of the Stanford Graduate School of Business that partners with entrepreneurs in emerging markets to build thriving enterprises that transform lives. Through its flagship Stanford Seed Transformation Program, the initiative works closely with founders and CEOs of established small and medium enterprises to help them scale their businesses. The program combines faculty-led learning, tailored business frameworks, and one-on-one coaching to support leaders in strengthening their strategy, operations, and leadership capabilities. Beyond the classroom, participants become part of the Seed Transformation Network, a global community of entrepreneurs committed to continuous learning, collaboration, and impact. Stanford Seed’s mission is to end the cycle of global poverty by building a critical mass of thriving enterprises in emerging markets. Its vision is to create long-term economic and social impact by enabling business leaders to scale sustainably, create jobs, and contribute meaningfully to their communities.

Our motivation to join the Catalyst Now community comes from a shared belief that meaningful, systemic change requires collaboration. At Stanford Seed, we work with entrepreneurs in emerging markets to build and scale businesses that create jobs and drive inclusive economic growth, which aligns closely with Catalyst Now’s mission. We hope to contribute insights from our work with growth-stage SMEs, particularly around leadership development, scaling strategies, and the role of peer networks.
