VIBRANT VOICES VILLAGES CBO is a community-based organization based in Kisumu, Kenya. The CBO works hand in hand with Kind Hearts Organization which also runs 14 other Community based Organizations in Kenya. Our purpose is to provide humanitarian aid and development assistance through alleviating poverty, promoting access to education, affordable healthcare, water and sanitation, as well as social-economic empowerment. The organization is dependent on donor funds and well-wishers’ contributions for its service delivery and offers direct assistance to the beneficiaries. It engages team from county and national government and all other stakeholders in all activities carried out within their areas of operation. Data, best practices, success stories and achievements are documented and shared to respective stakeholders for decision making. 2. MISSION To relieve poverty, improve access to healthcare services, education, water and promote environmental conservation. 3. VISION A world without poverty and deaths of children and their mothers, where all people have equal opportunities for medical care, education, development and a decent life. 4. AIMS AND OBJECTIVES ✅Enhancing primary health care in rural communities of Kisumu county to reduce mortality and morbidity of under five children and mothers. ✅Child protection and prevention of abuse of children and adolescents. ✅Reducing HIV/AIDS infections and stigma among the rural communities. ✅Promoting access to affordable quality education to the underprivileged children in the community. ✅Fighting period poverty and stigma at schools and among the rural communities. ✅Providing economic empowerment to women, girls and youths among the marginalized local communities. ✅Creating a sense of environmental conservation and climate change adaptation awareness, and enhancing eco-friendly environment among the local communities. ✅Poverty reduction and welfare of the people in the local communities. ✅Facilitating access to healthcare, education, vocational training, and rehabilitation services tailored to the needs of children and adults with disabilities. ✅Enhance food security through sustainable agricultural practices, focusing on improving crop yields, promoting efficient resource management, and empowering local communities with knowledge and tools to ensure reliable access to nutritious food sources.
