I am a cross-cultural educator and international development practitioner based in Guangzhou. I hold two distinct master’s degrees: one in Teaching Chinese for Young Spanish-Speaking Populations, and another in International Development Cooperation, Public Administration and NGO Management. Over 18 months, I completed two internships with UNESCO’s Montevideo and Beirut regional offices. My work there fell into two core pillars: first, I served as the focal point for a Arab Regional webinar on Education for Sustainable Development in Lebanon. This event explored holistic frameworks to embed sustainability within formal schooling, addressing regional challenges and good practices across curriculum design, teacher training, campus green initiatives and community engagement; second, the implementation of global AI Ethics Recommendation framework across Latin America by supporting coordination work for a regional ministerial forum. I currently serve at a local higher education institution, where I facilitate international partnership development, personalised study-abroad counselling, and youth empowerment workshops. I actively encourage young students to engage with global affairs and take meaningful action. Beyond institutional work, I have years of experience teaching Chinese to global learners, delivering accessible language and cultural education to break down cross-cultural barriers between diverse communities. As an advocate for conscious, mindful living, I center ecological wellbeing, responsible production and consumption, and equitable inclusive education in my personal and professional endeavour. My long-term vision is to foster spaces that elevate public awareness of urgent societal challenges, and nurture inclusive communities bringing together like-minded changemakers united by shared aspirations and collective goals. Within these networks, participants exchange insights, learn collaboratively, and co-design practical, actionable solutions to address these multifaceted global issues.
