Mental Health

The Mental Health Collaboration unites global leaders and organizations to tackle mental health issues, focusing on anti-stigma, community mental health, suicide prevention, and maternal and child mental health. The Mental Health Collaboration brings together global leaders, organisations, and individuals to address key issues in mental health. Initially focused on mental health fundraising, the collaboration will now address key areas such as anti-stigma, community mental health, suicide prevention, and maternal and child mental health. Through a series of successful workshops, webinars, and soon, podcasts, the collaboration fosters peer-peer learning and drives meaningful change in the field. A new interview series focusing on practitioners and best practice will highlight successful initiatives and lessons learned, further advancing the conversation on mental health. Our Co-Chairs take responsibility for the Collaboration overall and also have specialist areas: Lauren Magoun, digital mental health, Erla Magnusdottir, webinars and learning, Daisy Rosales, research, policy and advocacy, Christie Civetta fundraising and organisational development and Chris Underhill, connecting with the wider Catalyst Now movement, community mental health. The Mental Health Collaboration recently launched a groundbreaking report titled “Scaling Mental Health Access: Case Studies and Practices of Public Sector Integration” at the World Economic Forum in Davos 2025. Authored by one of our Co-Chairs Daisy Rosales and a collaborative member Sumathi Balasubramanian it is available in multiple languages and highlights innovative approaches to public sector integration in mental health. I have incubated multiple businesses in corporate settings and bring that perspective and discipline of product, business development to the social impact entrepreneurship. So I expect to be able to contribute in operations, in general mentoring and most certainly in mental health domain that we are working on. I would like to receive learning from the community and movement that helps me understand how change can be brought about at local community level and policy, infrastructural levels

I bring hands-on experience in educational innovation and a commitment to collective impact. Having previously coordinated Catalyst 2030's Education Collaboration, I aim to continue contributing at an individual level. I seek the invaluable learning and inspiration that comes from this network's collective wisdom.

The SHM Foundation has had the privilege of presenting at several webinars organized by Catalyst 2030. We believe this movement is crucial, and we are eager to be a part of it. Our vision is to transform the global mental health field by supporting community-based mental health organizations in low-resource settings, catalyzing new funding in the global mental health sector, and creating a healthy and balanced ecosystem.
